There seems to be an "inflection point" happening for sure. I'm hearing outright dismissal of social media from many agents, something that would have been unthinkable to utter in a sales meeting not that long ago.

Agreed! If we can shift that from "rejection" to "rebalance" I think we might be able to get the best of both worlds. But for too long people relied too heavily on social media, and given what's happened to engagement and algorithms in the last 24 months, the need to adjust plans to better incorporate direct methods is more important than ever.

Sometimes I think it’s only me who is really tired of being sold to on social media. There’s big pressure from the powers that be to put out real estate stuff to look like everyone else and I just can’t. I won’t. Thank you (as always!) for keeping me centered! ☀️🙏🏻

I feel the same way. Sometimes I take a decent amount of time to be thoughtful and compose something cool for social media, or make a video, and then it's totally buried. Makes me feel like "why bother" so I've been enjoying my newsletter SO Much more! Not only do I get some great comments - like this - but they really show that people read my contribution. It's rewarding. And makes me want to write more!
